Baxter Lecture Hall
One of two major buildings flanking Beckman Mall, Baxter Hall houses Humanities and Social Sciences offices as well as Baxter Lecture Hall (capacity 296) and Ramo Auditorium (capacity 371). The facility was built with support from Delia B. Baxter and named in honor of her late husband, Donald E. Baxter. Additional funds were provided by the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Simon Ramo and his wife provided funds for the completion of the Ramo Auditorium.
